Steve Vasold

School Principal, 5th-8th Grade

Principal Vasold was born in Columbus, WI but spent most of his childhood in Saginaw, MI. He graduated from Michigan Lutheran Seminary in 1996.

He then went on to Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Social Studies.

Steve has taught a wide range of subjects and grade levels. He served as high school religion and science teacher at Minnesota Valley Lutheran High School in New Ulm, MN. Steve also taught high school science, physical education, and English at Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, WI. He then moved to Houston and has served as principal and uppergrade teacher at Christ the Lord Lutheran School from 2004-2012.

Steve loves his work at Sienna Lutheran Academy! His prayer is that SLA will be a blessing to the families of Sienna Plantation by providing children with an excellent education within a loving, Christ-centered environment.

Steve enjoys spending time with his family, reading, and playing a variety of sports. He is married and has five children.
